Hi James, Derek, Bert, all,

It's kind of strange, the use of the word "pylon" in the
electrical power distribution industry. True, the term
pylon refers to an inverted pyramid shape (high volt-
age transmission line towers, road construction traffic
cones, ect.), yet wikipedia list the common pole mount
distribution transformer - aka pole pig, under "pylon
transformer".

Being American, I had just assumed that this was a
British or at least European terminology for it. Is
my assumption correct.
