Hi, if it is a normal motor then connect the yellow to white and the other
yellow and red are power in. so the field and the armature are in series.
use a 100 wat light bulb in series with the outlet for power testing, if you
connected wrong you get a bright light, otherwise the motor should run
slowly.....reverse red and white to reverse direction. using the light bulb
in series prevents a short circuit from blowing and burning up something.
