Don't even bother thinking about the MO caps. They have high losses at
500Hz-ish, let alone RF. If you can, get some tinfoil and projector
slides, and you can build a plate capacitor. Otherwise, your plan is
pretty much fine as i see it. I went with a MOT coil myself.

	Much of the loss is due to the "inserted tap" method of construction used in cheapie devices such as this, independent of the insulating material.  Capacitors designed for low loss and high current are of the "extended foil" type in which the foil extends beyond the edge of the insulation and is soldered to form a solid connection with the adjacent plate with very low resistance and inductance.
