I'm in the bay area in the Oakland hills but I started coiling 4 months ago.
I can only get a flame of plasma 3-4" long from my sstc. I am working on a
very large DRSSTC with secondary fres around 50Khz and am using some large
IGBT modules. From this I should get 70" arcs I would be happy to triad 2 of
them for a 6KV .45mf MMC. The modules are 600V 300A half bridge
ferchild FMG2G300LS60E.
The one fun thing I have is a very powerful coil gun that can shoot through
4 cans in a row. it even charges in 3-4 seconds. One nice thing about my
house is that I have 2 240V 200A lines coming into it this is a great
advantage for coilers.btw I am a high schooler so that may change your mined
not to, but it doesn't matter I have learned alto from my experiences.

You can decide if you want to see my stuff,

Daniel Costantino.
