Well said Dave.

If Gene doesn't understand how a pole xmfr works he should definitely NOT be 
using one.  The risk of death is too high.

If his knowledge of electrical engineering is weak he needs to find a course 
of study before tinkering with a pole xmfr that could easily kill him.
