These  comments should somehow be made more public than on this list.  If
not  the MIT guys will continue to strut their stuff and the general public
will  not be the wiser and will congratulate them on their discoveries.

Hi Ron,
 
I doubt that the general public really cares one way or the other. I also  
doubt that of those who bothered to read the article,1 in 1000  will  remember 
next week who did what. If it ever develops into something useful, then  the 
record will be checked by the few do care, (like us).
Until then, it's like "ein Furz im Gewitter" only significant to the one  who 
creates it.
