oops seem to have messed up the last posting lol never mind sorry all
on the subject of encased tesla coils what does the typical output look like in a vacuum!!? does anybody have pics ?and are electrical arcs subject to the forces of gravity!

MWS Industries manufactures gold plated copper magnet wire. They also make many other specialty wire.

Obviously it will be more expensive. You won't gain performance, but the coil will perform as if it were wound with standard copper magnet wire. It would however give a very cool look to the secondary.

this is a most serious question i have looked for
materials and it wouldnt really cost that much
!considering! and is something i may do !what
would be the result of winding a gold secondary
would there be any benefit ! has this been done !
if so could you please point me to the info
