Hi Bill,

Yes, while 15 kV x-rays would be of very low energy, it was my understanding 
that Tim was proposing "triggering" his vacuum spark gap with an EXTERNAL
x-ray source.? Besides, I'm not sure if 15 kV produced x-rays would even be
able to cause enough ionizaton to effectively alter the vacuum SG's breakdown
voltage?
