Original poster: Ed Phillips <evp@xxxxxxxxxxx> point of reference: I just saw some 1000 ohm, 100 watt resistors over at Leeds Electronics ... they're listed as $4 each. http://www.leedselect.com/ "Last time I was in C&H Sales Pasadena store they had some 500 watt 100 ohm resistors for a couple of bucks. Might be worth look at their web catalog if you want to save some pennies.
