Hi JT,

O.W. Landergren (owlandergren.com) in Pittsfield, Massachusetts can 
custom make spun aluminum toroids to your specs, if you have
the "green" ;^) There have been Tesla list organized bulk buys of 
toroids, all of a single size from Landergren in the past a few times.
The larger order makes each individual piece less expensive than
would be a single custom made unit. Think up the size you want and
propose it to the list for another bulk buy and see how many "bites"
you get. If you can get at least 15 or 20 individuals to commit to
purchase one, then it would be worth your while and would save all of
you some green. If you'd rather not personally head it up, there are
others on this list that would graciously offer to "take up the slack" for
you. A 9 x 30 spun alumiunm toroid ended up costing $300 each in
a bulk buy around 4 or 5 years ago so that should give you an idea of
the kind of money that your looking to spend.
