Hi Ken,

I have a 1000:1 current shunt I guess used for high power 60Hz meters.

I can assure you that they are completely worthless at say 100kHz+ frequencies. I think the metal in them has very poor skin depth or something. But they report very high voltages at high frequencies...

Current transformers are the way to go for sure!!
