Does one really need to 'coat' the're coil ?? other than mechanical safey ,( dropping it on the floor or something ) . If you build a coil, and, its way out of tune, or something else, the HV is just gonna blow through the coating anyway,and.could make the repair that much more difficult...Heck.I dont know!!!
