Re: Craig's SGTC (plus SSTC)

1) There seems to be a typo on your primary write-up. It says the conductor is 10 mm diameter and 10 mm long. Shouldn't that be 10 m instead?

Oops. Yes that should be 10m.

2) In humid weather, your string tie-downs could become somewhat conductive, causing an intermittent high-resistance short in your primary

Initially I was concerned about the conductivity of the string, but I did a few simple tests and it worked okay, so I decided to stick with it.
Although I didn't add any moisture to the string while testing it, so my tests were not extensive. It'll be easy enough to replace it with something more insulated if need be.

Hi Craig,

Very neat job! Two things I noticed:
1) There seems to be a typo on your primary write-up. It says the conductor is 10 mm diameter and 10 mm long. Shouldn't that be 10 m instead?
2) In humid weather, your string tie-downs could become somewhat conductive, causing an intermittent high-resistance short in your primary
