A typo I suspect. Centigrade to Fahrenheit should be:
To convert from Centigrade to Fahrenheit: (centigrade/(9/5)+32)

9/5 as opposed to 5/9.

Ed Sonderman"

There's an extra slash after (centigrade...) in this equation which makes wrong. 1/(9/5) = 5/9, which is inverted. Should be °F = (9/5) x °C +32.

Actually the expression is derived from 180/100, the ratio of the differences between boiling point of water and freezing point of water expressed in °F and °C respectively.
