Stupid Idea, Maybe?

  I posted a letter about my topload idea and didn't
get any feedback. I'm wondering if this design will
help prevent the discharge to primary as a double
toroid design does. If you see it as a poor idea please
let me know.

   Here's my original letter:
I'm working on a topload toroid for my 8.5in x 39in TC.
I see some with a double toroid, I'm wondering if a bowl
supporting a toroid would have a similar effect.

  If this seems acceptable I'll dress it up with aluminum tape.
What is your feedback?
