Thats correct. All coils in Australia should be wound anticlockwise for best performance.

Are you really sure it doesn't matter?  Shouldn't it be clockwise in
the Northern hemisphere and counter clockwise in the Southern?  What do
you folks "down under" say?  You seem to be doing it right as your TC's
sure perform.
