The walls are melting again...

Pardon me for sounding a bit
incoherent, but it's been a
day of weirdness again....

After adding a 2nd 15/30 NST
to my coil, I got a much
greater performance... still
not where it should be on the
mathematic realm, but still
good. Got 28" streamers,
where I should be getting
like 36 or 37.

Then came the next anamole...

I clamped my digital clamp
ammeter to the hot wire
of the main power cord, and
cranked it up... showed it
was drawing like 38 amps.

The coil has to be screwing
around with the meter, cuz
there's no way in h*** it's
going to be drawing a steady
38 amps on a 15 amp circuit.
...especially when all the
combined loads should be no
more than 10, and none of
the wires are even close to
being warm.

Ok, my rant is done.
