Whoa! So do you have the means to actually run this thing at 100,000 watts? 
If so, what on earth are you using? Or is this just going to be a "sneak 
into the substation when nobody's looking" kind of thing? =D

I have officially set off to build possibly the highest power VTTC ever
made. We have a newly acquired pulse load / switch at work that is capable
of switching at up to 100kHz and peak power levels up to 200kW peak. (about
30kW continous) Its designed to pulse some Lambda 45kV (30kW) switching
power supplies as a burn-in test, but i'm thinking of building a huge
primary coil (solenoid?) and using this thing to drive it.

Could be interesting . . .
