Most hardware suppliers in the United states provide copper tubing in 25, 50
,and 100 ft lengths. Splicing is of no problem for most people using a
solder splice or cutting a small length of tubing length wise and inserting
it inside to provide a support to solder the copper end to end making a
smooth solder joint. Even solid wire can be ground to a angled taper and
soldered into a soothe joint.
