So one has to distinguish three different cases:

1. Class C oscillators like VTTCs (to stay on-topic) are suitable, as
the amplitude does not change.

2. Class C telegraphy amplifiers are suitable also, because the
amplitude (dots/dashes) changes relatively slow.

3. Class C telephony amplifiers are unsuitable, because the amplitude
changes too quickly and there is also the stabilisation problem, you
described.

Are the a.m. statements correct?
