I thought about something interesting. YOu know the tape they use in some 
microwaves to cover holes in the cavity for lightbulbs? thinnish 
transparent stuff, slightly yellowish tinge? Well is that opaque to 
microwaves? If so, would gogles coated with that stuff be a useful precaution?

Oh and just to add to what you were saying, even if you get a low enough 
dose of the microwaves that you don't go instantly blind, it could still 
give you cataracts in 10-20 years time.
