Also beware of any auction that requires you to
"register" before bidding. Apparently the seller
offers used equipment at a too-good-to-be-true price.
When you attempt to contact the seller to "register",
the scamster then emails you with an offer that's even
better than the eBay price. You can guess what happens
next.

The telltale signs are little or no feedback and cash
(or equivalent) only.
