It would appear that Airgas sells Neon in a variety of forms. The cheapest
one in the online catalog is $120 for a 100 liter 6A sized cylinder. I
assume there's some demurrage on the bottle as well.

Special Gas Services inc sells lecture bottles of Neon at various
pressures, corresponding to fills of 10,25, and 45 liters for $210,220 and
230 respectively. The price includes UPS shipping. That's pretty pricey!

Matheson probably sells the stuff too..
http://www.matheson-trigas-dot-com/mathportal/_pdfs/products/Neon%20Pure%20Gas.pdf
(handy page because it has all the bottle sizes, etc.)

I don't see a price on Matheson's web site.

Pretty much any company that does cryogenic separations (i.e. LN2, LOX,
etc.) will have Neon because it's extracted from air (just like Argon, etc.)

You might be able to find less expensive sources for small quantities in
low pressure bottles (like propane torch bottles) used for calibrating
equipment. Also, calling around to neon fabricators might turn up smaller
quantities.
