A flat primary will be added someday, but until then I'll put on more varnish.
However, that brings up the question of where on the secondary does voltage 
gain actually end?  It seems that the voltage in the middle is almost as 
much as the top?  Shouldn't the voltage increase more or less peak at the 
top and 0 at the bottom?
