I would say not very well because of the thinness (sparks would jump out too
easily before voltage build up). As far as cookware goes, a couple of buntd
cake pans (the type with the larger center to approximate a toroid, though a
bit thick better than too thin) taped together would be better. 2 salad
bowls with aluminum tape smoothing the edges out would work too.
