Hello Captain

I have three such dental x-ray heads and the control panel.
About a gallon of oil can be drained from the oil port.
The heads were opened by using an old wood chisel and
small hammer on the soldiered seam. The output is 10mA
at 100kV and 15mA at 90kV, with short duration duty. This
could be important to you. I measured a max voltage output
of 85V from the control panel. It might not be to good idea
to apply 120V to the head.

Something funny! I've order a Picker 995 LB, 3-phase,
150kV, 1A x-ray transformer. It's close by and I got a
great price. I'm taking it apart to get the giant core. As
the deal was closing, the seller emailed, wanting to know
if I wanted to change the deal to a 1,500 LB transformer,
containing 90 gallons of oil. I said no. Later he emailed that
he found a great use for the oil. His truck runs on a mixture
of gasoline and transformer oil. Since he has barrels of the
oil, he will be driving his truck on transformer oil!
