Dan's SSTC Mass Board Ordering (THIS IS AWSOME!)

Original poster: "by way of Terry Fritz <teslalist-at-qwest-dot-net>" <Robynsaddiction-at-aol-dot-com>

I can't wait to get my hands on those boards. All I can think of
lately is SSTC's. Silent arcs with no bulky transformers, no fragile (rare)
tubes,
no finicky tuning concerns, no special (rare) low loss tank capacitors, no
flaming hot grid resistors. Darn! It will be so darn cool to listen to music
through a tesla coil via audio modulation. I can't wait to hear what it sounds
like.

Heck, his prices on the boards are awesome, and rare in themselves.
For me, there is nothing nicer than having a wonderfully organized circuit
board
to replace the mouse nest appearance of a proto board. I figured this out
only after ordering a Staccato board from Dan's last mass board ordering. That
was a great buy.

Anyhow, these boards are a perfect SSTC door opener for a someone who
does not know all that much about modern day electronics. With the way he sets
things up on his webpage (great schematics & good pictures), all an
inexperienced solid state tesla coiler need do is practically paint by
number. Just
plug, and solder. Most all of the components are available from Digikey, so
there
is no hassle in looking all over for parts. Basically, this all translates to
an intimidation factor of zero.

Anyway, I just want to say thanks to Dan for making this kind of high
quality stuff available to us here on the list. I know that it takes a lot of
time, and effort for you to organize these kinds of activities. I'm sure that
a vast number of us here on the list greatly appreciate your work, and I hope
that you get enough orders to make it all worth your trouble.
