handheld DMMs

Since my old Radio Shack DMM seems to have a few dead functions (it has
been well [ab]used ;) ), I've been pondering replacing it for several
months now. Ideally, I'd like one that will test R, L from a few uH to
several H, C from 100pF to 100kuF, with a wide bandwidth, True RMS, and
transistor testing. Of course I don't live in an ideal world, and have to
make a few choices. After some looking around, the Fluke 187 seems to
cover half the bill: True RMS, bandwidth to 100kHz, C 1.1nF to 50kuF, very
accurate voltage and current measurements. But, alas, no inductance or
transistor testing, and the price makes me wince. Of course the Wavetek
Meterman LCR55 does all the LCR stuff (except C is only to 2000uF) really
well (L to 0.1uH!), but I'd rather not carry around two meters, and the
price of both together makes me cringe.

So, is there a DMM that has all I want for a fairly reasonable price?

Thanks
