Hi Chris,

I'm presuming you are trying to protect the MMC's from overvoltage.  I guess
one could put that SSG directly across the unloaded NST and use it for a
voltage reference and set the gap that way and then install the SSG across
the MMC and make sure the MMC breakdown is sufficiently greater than the NST
output.  Truthfully, I haven;t thougth about protecting the MMC other than
by design.  If you are trying to protect it from a strike,  a strike rail
could be used.
