small coil contest - rules?

Original poster: "Laurence Davis by way of Terry Fritz <twftesla-at-qwest-dot-net>" <meknar-at-hotmail-dot-com>

the transformer is set to 4020se franceformer with 5 shunts (5top/5bottom).
no overvoltage--115v in.

I would then assume that breakrate is also set to 120bps.
but for fun... would reducing the breakrate with an asrg
to say... 30bps make things more interesting? I'm guessing
this would be an unfair advantage. more energy per bang,
but limiting factors would be the lower the breakrate, the lower number of
turns requiring more turns on secondary and thus thinner diameter.
Then a skin depth issue with the wire. Caps could be expensive as
more needed plus current increases requiring more strings.

hmmmm...
any thoughts?
