To which exaggerations do you speak???    I believe this guy is speaking
about an "average" tesla coil and comparing it to
480VAC, 3-Phase power.  From my experience with this group, and "average"
tesla coil is one of at least 5kVA output powered by
either a MOT or PDT . . .
