Well all good things, that seem to turn around from bad things to be good
things, must come to an end. A few weeks ago i reported that my 1200v .33uf
ge caps were overheating. But my .68uf 1200v caps still seemed to have
hope.

NOPE!!

Tonight i ran my large coil again, and checked the caps. 5 are
overheating!!! So i really did spend $170 in bad caps! Oh sure, they will
seem ok when you have enough in series, but my experience has told me that
they will all fail at a very young age, about 15 minutes of total run time
if that! Might be only like 5-6 minutes. So Terry or Scott Hanson, maybe i
will have some mice big caps for you to analyze if you want. But then
again, i have about $.02 left, so im not sure if i can afford the shipping.
This is really depressing....

Steve Ward.

PS, are the 2000v and 3000v 42ls good? maybe they are. perhaps only the
1200v are junk. that seems to be my luck lately... Teslathon was looking
like a good time too.
