wellll... I suspect that your distributor that's giving you the street price
would give you the same percentage discount on the refurb unit, no?
Otherwise, what you're paying for is factory warranty, NIST traceable
calibration, etc.  Important to some, not so important to others. I suspect
most of us are in the latter category, but, you never know....
