Justin,

Bill Wysock uses 1 primary turn and has produced over 55-foot long arcs.

Hello All,

What is the smallest number of turns on a primary that will be effective.
I am trying to work out a secondary size that will suit the power supplies
that I have.

How many turns are required for efficient operation? What happens if I
only use 2 or 3 turns in order to used a large tank cap size? Is it
possible to use too many turns?

Regards,

Justin
