RE: Halloween Coiling and the FCC

Hi,

You may consider using RG-8 coax cable (or any big coax) for long grounds.
The inner conductor is the coil ground with the nasty RF on it.  The ground
side connected shield keeps the RF from the inner conductor from radiating.
 That's what I often use.
