No, the primary windings of a 120 volt input microwave oven tranny
WON'T handle 240 volts! If you hook one up like this, you will let the
smoke out! However you can easily hook up the primaries of two 120
volt input MOTs in series to 240 volts. It does work better if the two
MOTs are as nearly equal in size as possible in this hookup, though.
