I think that the best solution would be to do this and to insert
circular wedges made of PVC at the spaces left, to avoid electric
field concentration where the metal leaves the dielectric surface.
Complicated construction.

Thank you. Yes, the system was producing a more interesting
output there than at the main terminal...
