Howdy  Mikko,  All

it would seem you have a sodium vapor lamp transformer, notice the
connection for the capacitor.  you could use this with a 3 kw bulb and realy
light up the place but it's prob. not much good for coiling.
the core could be rewound for use as a ballast or current regulator for a
tesla coil.
of course I could be wrong ?  you have a good day !      jeff......
