At this point you'd probably be better off trying to improve the other parts of
your coil. You could probably get at least 12" with a few improvements. What
are the entire specs. of your coil? The MOT supply would need quite a large
tank cap that would be expensive if you use an MMC and larger than you would
want to use bottle caps for(Greg might disagree on that though) , the spark gap
would have to be quite as well, and the power would be more than 12" long
secondary is good for.
