Ok. So the same things happen in a Tesla coil and in an induction coil
when a short spark occurs. Note the many cycles that takes the decay of 
the secondary current.
This also makes the theory that says that ball lightning may be 
produced by sparks between the terminals of two Tesla coils operating 
at very different frequencies make some sense. What would happen if the
slow decay of the secondary current is suddenly interrupted (probably
nothing interesting, but...).
