Hi Dan,

As for the sparking at the motor, it sounds like you need to adjust the
phasing. As you increase power, the phasing needs to be re-tweeked. Improper
phasing might cause arcs to occur where they don't belong if insulation is
marginal, suggesting that the safety gap may need to be narrowed a bit too.
