Hi Shad,
If you decide to coat glass with white candle wax or paraffin use care
in melting, it flash flames readily.....best melt it in a double boiler
using low heat.  You might try pure beeswax if available, it melts at
lower temps.  Either wax will be hard to clean off the pan.  I have one
pan I save just for wax melting.
Another possiblity....I don't know what chemical is in Rain-X, but it
does shed water from glass.... I personally would want to check out the
chemistry ...anyone know about this?
