My wife bought me a Fuji MX-1200 digital camera for Christmas last. It is a
good little camera and is quite handy. It uses a 1.3 Meg pixcel CCD with 1,280
x 960 resolution. You just take lots of shots then pick the few that you like.
It is nice to be able to easily load them into the computer without going
through the developing and scanning process as is required with normal film.
However - this camera will not let me set aperture or shutter speeds manually
and is thus no good for taking pictures of the coil while it is running. So,
my old Cannon A-1 still comes in handy. Check out the specs carefully before
you buy.
