Hi, simply put the copper in a fire(not in the house!) untill the copper is
dull red, then plunge it into a bucket of cold water. it will get rid of
most of the scale too. copper fumes can be poisonous...vinigar and table
salt with a little brushing will make it bright again. cul brian f.
