TEW vs THHN

Original poster: "J. B. Weazle McCreath by way of Terry Fritz <twftesla-at-uswest-dot-net>" <weazle-at-hurontel.on.ca>

Hello Coilers,

Anyone see a problem with using type TEW wire rather than type THHN
for winding a ballast? It's used as the leads from the windings to
the connection box on motors and is rated to 105 degrees C. and the
insulation seems a bit more flexible, making winding easier.
