The 6L:6 does not make for a good VTTC as you are much better off using a 
triode for Class C operation with a tube like the 811 or 833. It sounds like 
you have three good
stereo amps, each with push-pull 6L6 output. They are valuable as amplifiers.
Check out some of the prices on the auction place.

I assume you are referring to the power supply filter caps. If they are a bit 
leaky they are easily replaced. I would not wreck those amplifiers.
