If you really are keen on removing the epoxy then there are some nasty
chemicals that do this. The first is acetone, and this will melt through it.
Its some seriously nasty cr*p though - do it out doors. If you use a heat
gun to soften the epoxy, that could work too. Remember - without a filter,
an inverter will die from TC use.
