Hi Will,

I think it's great your getting 12" arcs on a 12/30 6 x 24 beer bottle
static gap set up. I think
the best way to improve sparklength is to upgrade 2 key components in your
system. First, the cap
bank. Try an MMC cap bank. This will be a significant improvement. Next,
add another 12/30 or
replace with a 12/60 xfmr. The 6 x 24 is a pretty good sized coil for a low
current TC and is
capable of transfering much more power to the sparks.
