secondary coatings

I'm working on my first coil (4.5") and I am ready to seal the windings
on the secondary. I am wondering what to coat it with. I've heard of
people using "Behr SuperBuild 50" or something like that, but I cannot
find it anywhere. Are there any alternatives? Also, how far is the
maximum distance on each side that the primary can be from the
secondary? Thanks for the help,
