Jason, Potluck?, 

I believe you meant to say the SMALLER the capacitor, the faster break 
rate that you will need. Obviously, a transformer of a given kVA rating 
can charge a 50 nFD cap faster than it can a 100 nFD cap, so with a 
SMALLER cap, you can run a faster break rate.
